TO REMEMBER WHEN MOVING OUT
We ask that you leave the apartment, storage room, terrace/balcony and carport nice and clean for the next tenant – the kind of home you yourself would want to live in.
NOTICE PERIOD & MOVING OUT
When you terminate your lease, you must give notice one full calendar month in advance. This month starts from the last day of the month in which we receive your notice of termination.
You must pay rent until the agreed move-out date!
If you have paid too much rent, the excess will be refunded to you. The security deposit cannot be used to pay the final rent!
Together, we will agree on your move-out date. Your rental agreement will also end on the same day. The apartment must then be handed over to us in its entirety, emptied and cleaned.
If the apartment is not available on the agreed date, we may charge you for delaying when the next tenant can move in.
MOVE-OUT INSPECTION
When you are moving out, we conduct a move-out inspection of your apartment. The purpose of the inspection is to check that the apartment is in the same condition as when the tenant moved in and that it has been cleaned according to our instructions. The inspection and its results are documented.
If your apartment has not been cleaned according to instructions, we will ask you to correct this. If we find abnormal wear or damage in the apartment, we will inform you about any fixes we need to make and any deductions from your security deposit.
If you leave behind furniture or other large items, you will be charged for their removal costs. The primary purpose of the deposit is to cover the costs of damages etc.
KEYS
When moving out, please return all keys to the property secretary or the technical manager. You will then be free of any responsibility regarding the keys.
If you do not return your keys within the specified time, you will be charged a fee corresponding to the actual costs of replacing locks and keys.
ELECTRICITY, INTERNET AND CABLE TV
We will notify the electricity company of your move-out date. The start and end date of the electricity agreement is always identical to the start and end date of the rental agreement.
Remember to cancel your internet subscription and any paid channels on your IPTV box when moving out.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Remember to submit an official change of address when you move out!

This updates your address information in the post office's register and the official population data system maintained by the registry office. To ensure that your mail is delivered to the correct address, you must submit the official change of address for yourself and your family no later than one week before you move (by law, the registry office must receive notification no later than one week after the move).
